Estrella Warbird Museum

March 23, 2012  •  4 Comments

I recently visited the Estrella Warbird Museum in Paso Robles.  There's alot of preserved history there and its a growing collection.  The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and (in my opinion) the best part is that you can walk right up to the planes!

I went on a day that was a little overcast and initially I was unhappy about it.  In hindsight, it worked out really well.  It provided some texture in the sky for several of the photos.

The museum is open Thursdays-Sundays from 10am to 4pm.  I think I'll make my way back to check out their classic car collection.  I have a few more photos in the gallery: EWarbirds.  Check it out and let me know what you think.  I did 99% of the editing in lightroom- trying to learn new things.

Thanks Jeff, I agree with you- the first is my favorite too. There's a whole section of classic cars I didn't have the time to visit. Hopefully I'll catch a few nice shots.

Great series Ron. The first one is definitely my favorite of the bunch, but they are all very good.
