Stephanie & Clayton
"He felt now that he was not simply close to her, but that he did not know where he ended and she began." -Leo Tolstoy
Taking engagement photos reminds me of when my wife and I took ours a few years ago. I remember standing next to Cathy feeling a little awkward and not quite knowing what to do. It wasn't until we were directed to do something that I felt comfortable and natural. I stopped focusing on myself and focused on us. That wasn't the case with Stephanie and Clayton. These two were at ease from the beginning and taking their engagement photos was a breeze. Most telling, to me, is the fact that it made me reflect on my own relationship. It was obvious to me that these two are in love and (while the term may sound a little old fashioned) they cherish each other.
